imPRESSions Worldwide Partners with Cleveland Daily Banner

Founded in 1854 the Cleveland Daily Banner is one of the oldest newspapers in the state of Tennessee. imPRESSions Worldwide recently upgraded their Presslines to increase color capacity from 4 pages to 12 pages. iW added one Quad-Stack four color tower to each of their two Atlas Presslines. The two lines run in a parallel “cross associated” fashion and webs can cross over to create larger newspapers and/or multiple sections. The WebPress Quad-Stack is a compact, low profile four color tower built in the USA. The two Quad-Stacks for Cleveland were cleaned, repaired and new rubber rollers were installed at our factory in Burlington, WA. The project was spread out over a period of several months and particular 48-hour installation windows were strategically targeted in order to execute the job without stalling production. Approximately half of each Pressline was dismantled and relocated to make room for the new Quad-Stack towers. By January of 2018 both Presslines were running at the new higher level of capacity.
