Printing pharmaceutical inserts

The printing of pharmaceutical inserts has three very specific characteristics:

  1. It is printed on very thin paper
To ensure that the paper does not tear during printing, it must be printed carefully. A characteristic of the Vision is that it is capable of printing on very thin substrates.
  2. There is a lot of information about a small sheet of paper
Because of the large amount of information (often also in different languages) and the small size, the pharmaceutical attachments are printed in a small font. This requires a very high accuracy of the machine.
  3. It is folded into a small package
Medicines are packaged in as small a package as possible (our machines are also perfectly suitable for flexible packaging) and the pharmaceutical insert must fit into this. This means a lot of folding work and certain requirements on paper and printed matter.
